- Heat water in a steamer, grease the plate with oil. Make it in the elongated shape, cover the lid and steam it for 15 mins or till done. Allow it to cool, then cut in small pieces
- Heat oil, season it with mustard seed and white til. Add the chopped pieces of muthiya. Mix well. Cover and simmer till little crispy and brown.
- When done serve it with chutney, sauce and ginger tea.
