  4. Keep this for fermentation. I kept this overnight or 3-4hrs.
  5. Make idlis by taking a ladle full of batter and adding to each idli hole which are greased with oil and steam them till cooked.
  6. For chutney:Dry roast peanut and remove their skin
  7. In a khadai add oil fry chilli,garlic and jeera and take this in plate.
  8. Cool them and add these to grinder and grind this with water and salt required.
  9. To this you can add tempering by adding rai and curry leaves to left over hot oil and add this to chutney.
  10. For Masala idli: Cool the idlis.Then take 6_7 idlis cut into pieces.
  11. Take a khadai add oil.Then add rai.When it splutter add chana dal,urad dal,dry red chilli,curry leaves.
  12. To this add onion,ginger and green chilli chopped.
  13. When onions are transparent add turmeric and chilli powder.
  14. Then add Idli pieces.Mix well by adding coriander leaves,lemon juice and salt.
  15. Then take idli pieces arrange in sticks and serve with peanut chutney or any chutney of your choice.
